According to the TReND MLS market update, our economy added 151,000 jobs in October and should continue to increase. You may be asking yourself, “What does this have to do with Philadelphia Real Estate?” The increase in jobs and job security has an immense effect on our economy and our real estate. With the increase of jobs there will be an increase of buyers in the market and not to mention an increase in spending which overall help to spark the economy. Jobs will help people get pre-qualified easier and help this economy get back on its feet. Although Philly wasn’t impacted as much as other cities across the U.S. this is still great news. According to the Wall Street Journal, women are slowly taking over our “Man Caves.” Referred to as “MC” from now on. Why is this happening you may ask? This is happening because our MC’s are slowly evolving from cold, dark, and musty garages to warm, bright, and comfortable basements. We no longer just have the big TV. We now have things such as; movie theaters, pool tables, dart boards, bowling alley, (YES, I said bowling alley!) and full granite wet bars! I’m in heaven just thinking about all of this. You also may be asking yourself, “What is the point of this blog?” There isn’t one, I just found the blurb to be humorous. That being said, if you are in the market for a new house or condo, and a Man Cave is on your “must have” list, shoot me an email or give me a call and I promise we will have a great time finding that perfect MC………….I mean Home!
