With the “Baby Boomers” becoming empty nesters and Generation Y taking over the country, the forecast for Center City’s Real Estate market looks sunny with lots of sales!
The biggest segment of our population was the “Baby Boomer” era, (76 million people born) until 1982-1995, when “Generation Y” hit the scenes with 80 million people born. What does this have to do with real estate? With deflated home prices, low interest rates, and the importance of home ownership, the rebound of our real estate market will be one for the record books. That being said, we all have to be realistic, home prices will never inflate to what they once were and obtaining mortgages will never be that easy again. Real Estate has always been part of the backbone of our economy and will soon help to bring us out of this slump!

The answer to this question is simple: It is always a good time to buy and investment property. It is never really a question of timing but more a question of LOCATION, affordability and upkeep. If the price is right, location is golden and the money is there for the purchase, this is one of the best ways to ensure an income. Obviously there is more to the puzzle than this such as; finding a good tenant and maintenance on the property.
